My card
features the Christmas Skates Digital Set.
This was printed in black on white cardstock and colored with Copic
Markers.
Cloud Nine Velvet Glitter was
added to the little berries with a Glue Pen, giving them a slightly frosted
look and the edges were inked with Antique Linen Distress Ink. This was layered on a piece that distressed
on the edges, run through an embossing folder, and sponged with Distress Ink. The red layer beneath was created with white
cardstock sponged with Fired Brick Distress Ink.
The image and
layers were placed on a piece of Sticker Paper with the right side punched with
a holly leaf border punch. Meadow Spark
glitter was added to the remaining exposed adhesive and this was centered on the
card.
The printed
sentiment was inked around the edges with more Antique Linen Distress Ink,
layered on dark green, and adhered to the card corner.
These new sets
are a perfect start to those Christmas cards and I hope the projects you see on
this hop inspire you to get started.
The Sparkle N Sprinkle Creative Challenge also

The patterned paper perfectly accentuates the skates and the glitters! So pretty!!
What a stunning vintage looking card! Love your coloring of the image and all the inking you did with the layers. The glittered holly leaves edge is gorgeous too.

Such a beautiful card! I'm doing Christmas in July too - it's the best way to get ready and not have to scramble in November/December. This is a gorgeous stamp set! Loving all the new stamp sets! I've got some favorites picked out! I've never tried a SNS stamp before so I'm hoping to win and give them a try! Thanks for the fun and inspirational blog hop!
Love your card. Such a vintage feel to it. Just beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
Your card is a visual joy... there are wonderful layers, textures, and of course, glitter!
This is a beautiful Xmas card with the lovely glittered wreaths on the edge of the central point. Love the way the antique linen distress ink makes the message so warm. I am always trying to come up with new ways or colors to take away the plain white background.
I really like how the holly on the side ties everything together. Beautiful card!
oh so GORGEOUS, Marie! xo
Pretty layering and sparkle on this beautiful card!
Pretty card, love all the layers.
Terrific layers!
So many interesting layers here. The holiday edging is a really festive touch
I think this is such an eye-catching card. I really like the way you have layered it. Nice job!
Very nice! I like how you used the glitter border and used patterned paper in the background.
Another beautiful Christmas card. I love how you used the glitter around the sides of the frame. It looks like little wreaths. Great job!
How beautiful!
Loving all the
elements on it.

Loving the distressed, vintage look!
E. Marie, Always love your submissions and hope to be able to put cards together like you. That seems to be the hardest thing to do - find the right embellishments! Am going to try some of the new glitters this week and see what I can do besides getting it all over the house. Thank you, Joyce L.
