The inspiration for my card was a recent get together with several of my very good stampin’ buddies to celebrate a birthday.  The new Birthday Friends set was just too perfect.

I created a version of a stair step card, with the back step actually a complete card.

I used two of the main image and colored one complete image with alcohol markers.  I used a glue pen to add Jasper Blue, Daisy, and Cyclamen glitters to various parts of the image.  This was added to layers of blue and pink and added to the back card size step.

On the second image, I just colored the gift, cake, and the goblet base. I cut across the top, just above the cake plate, fussy cutting around the gift and cake.  After glittering, this was also added to layers of blue and pink and adhered to the 2nd step so it lined up with the back image when setting open.

For the bottom step I added a punched border on top of the pink layer.  Then I ran a strip of 1/8” "Tear-ific" Tape along the bottom and added Jasper Blue Velvet glitter.

I used the wonderfully appropriate sentiment about growing old with the “right” people – my great friends, of course.  The was die cut using the oval from Spellbinders’ Radiant Rectangles and sponged with ink before removing from the die.  I popped this on the top.

Once I figured out the measurements I needed, this was easy putting together.  You can find full details on this card in the gallery here.

Check out what my fellow Designers have created and don't forget to leave a comment with each Designer to be eligible for the Grand Prize.  We love reading your comments and hope we have inspired you as well.  If you absolutely cannot leave a comment for some reason, please email icinganne@yahoo.com with your comment and the name of the blog or Designer you are commenting about.

We hope you enjoy the New Reveals as much as we do!
Last month the winner came from Belinda's blog.

Wonder which Designer contains the Grand Prize winner this month?

No Tricks, Just Treats

I had this awesome SVG that I downloaded for Make The Cut to use on my Cricut.  It is the black spider web frame.  I just had to use it so decided I really should make some type of Halloween card.  The pumpkin border and the fence at the bottom of the card are both MS border punches.  I then used a MS corner punch to create floral medallions, which I cut in half and used on the two sides.

The center was cut out using a circle Nestie to show the cute pumpkin I stamped onto the yellow base.  I colored it with my Tombow markers.  I then stamped the round border and also cut it out with a circle Nestie, along with the inside.  I then pop dotted it to the front of the card.  Both the pumpkin and the border are from JustRite Stamps.

Crazy 4 Challenges ~ C4C59 also has a Fall/Autumn theme.
