Sending Happy Thoughts

Last weekend I made a trip to my friend, Cheryl’s, and we did a lot of shopping.  I purchased a new piece of Basic Grey cardstock called Euphoria.  It was a mix of beautiful flowers and reminded me of a garden of wild flowers.  This was perfect to make my card to introduce one of the new sets from Sparkle N Sprinkle called Thoughtful Frames.  This set is a combination of decorative frames and some wonderful sentiments.  What is really great is they coordinate with Spellbinders’ square and oval nestabilities.

For the front of my card I used a new doily die and cut it out of my beautiful “garden” paper.  I layered it on a raspberry card base, cut out with a Spellbinders’ circle die.

The sentiment, Single Flower, is embossed, using Amethyst Spray embossing powder from SNS, and layered on raspberry cardstock.  Both were cut out with Spellbinder Dies.  I added SNSBubble Gum glitter around the edge of the sentiment with a glue pen and added a single sticker flower for embellishment.

Inside the card I used one of the new frames from the set, called Flourish Oval Frame.  It is stamped with Rasberry ink and heat embossed with Sparkle embossing powder and the sentiment, Thoughts Set, is embossed with Amethyst Spray.  I layered it on a light blue punched border  and added ribbon and a bow that was already dyed light pink and I added some of the raspberry ink to it.  This is a great way to have your ribbon coordinate with your card.

Here is the complete card open.  The new stamps are available on the website and can be purchased individually or as a set here.
