Best Friends

Thank you to everyone that left me encouraging comments on my last post regarding my daughter.  The good news is she finally found a place to e-mail me and all is fine.  She is having a great time already, and was so proud that she could order coffee and buy a train ticket in Italian.

Now that I am at peace, I felt I could get creative again.  I needed something lite and fun so I went with a card using one of my favorite Penny Black images.  For the background I used a Martha Stewart Corner/Boarder punch and some lovely Basic Grey floral cardstock (OBG-438 Lilly).  I also used two new embossing folders from Sizzix, Thank You Set #5 and Garden Flowers Set.

The image, Who? Me?, is stamped in black and colored with pearlescent watercolors.  The flower with the sentiment was made using Spellbinder's Blossom Three die.  To add a little bling, I added two little jewels to the embossed flower centers.  I still have a few of these jeweled flowers that I found at Hobby Lobby so I added one of these.
