My Favorite Things

I was working on a card for my stamp club swap when I was challenged to produce a card showing my favorite things.  I thought about all of the things I love to use and then I looked back at a lot of my latest cards to see what I was using.  I have so many things I love but there are certain things I "really" love.  In fact, they are used on almost all of my cards.  Then I looked at the card I was working on and realized they were on this card, too.  So here are some of my favorite things:

Embossing Folders - I think I own most of them that are out there.  Sometimes I can hardly decide which one to use because I have so many wonderful ones.  Sometimes I desperately want to use a certain one and then realize it doesn't really work with my card and have to take a tour of all the others to make a new choice.

Die Cuts - Ok, I resisted these at first, then after getting a Cricut, felt guilty buying these if I thought I could do the same thing on my Cricut.  However, my Cricut does not travel with me (I already haul too much stuff around) and my Spellbinders, Cuttlebug, and Nellie Snellen dies do.  I have slowly added to my stack and now am desperately trying to find the right way to store these that meets my needs and storage area.  On this card I used a Cuttlebug embossing/cut folder that does it all.

Martha Stewart Punches - If you have read very many of my posts, you already know this.  She has got to stop coming out with new ones.  I can't stop buying them.  She has 3 new ones coming out and I already ordered these.  Are there any groups out there call Martha Stewart Anonymous?  On this card I used one of her new Valentine punches.  I knew I had to have it the minute I saw it.  Apparently others felt the same way because everyone was trying to take it from me last weekend when we had our fun time at Scrapbook Creations.

Bling - I love to add a little something extra by using pearls, jewels, or glitter.  On this one I used red Stickles to bring out the heart shape in the middle of my punched shape.  Love it!!

Ok, these are just a few of my favorite things.  I will save the rest for another time or we might be here all day.

I entered this card in the following challenges:

I have to ask, if you don't mind, what part of South Carolina do you live in? I ask because we recently relocated to SC, and I'm looking for someone nearby to create with...

If there's a Martha Stewart's Anonymous, there probably out to be a Spellbinders' Anonymous, too. I bet there would be a whole lot of us in there!! Pretty, pretty card!
