Once again, I covered the side with a strip of decorative paper. I used my new Martha Stewart border punch to add a little "frosting" decor. The top and bottom are made from a scalloped circle cut out with a sizzix die. My nesties were not quite large enough. Guess it is time to invest in some of those "grand" nesties.
I stamped the top with stamps from JustRite. Then I added some flowers that I made for it. I added some purple Stickles to give it a little more pizzaz, along with two cute butterflies. Then I used some bead trim to the top edge and also around the bottom.
This project is entered into the following challenges:
JustRite Friday Challenge 044 - Make a wedding, holiday, or other celebration project, card, gift, or scrapbook page
Stamptacular Sunday Challenge #86 - A Time for Giving
Cute Card Thursday Challenge 140 - Blast from the Past (I used challenge 133 - Make your own and made my own flowers)
Top Tip Tuesday: Top Tip #11 - Paper Piecing & 'Layer upon Layer' Challenge
