Luck

I did not make any cards for St. Patrick’s Day, but Sweet Stamps has the challenge of “Luck” so I decided to create something.  Now the problem was what to use since I don’t have a lot of their stamps and no sentiments.

I found some great green paper at the scrapbook store called Lucky Plaid from Reminisce.  It is plaid on one side and has the word Lucky on it.  I used the plaid side and stamped Sweet Stamps’ Baroque Border three times on top of it with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white detail powder.  This was layered on two different shades of green and the white card base.

I used the word strip from the other side of the cardstock and, after inking the edges and layering it on dark green, I added it to the card front.  I recently purchased the Dogwood Blossom from Memory Box.  It really looked like it could be a Four Leaf Clover so I created some and added them to the card front, along with some green jewels.

Thanks for stopping by.
