Except for all
the little jelly beans, this cute little image represents how I have felt
lately. Despite colder weather, my
little kindergarten students definitely have spring fever. We took them to our local zoo for an
educational program and then we walked around a checked out the various
animals. They were so full of energy but
it was so fun to watch their excitement over each animal, especially the 2 week
old baby monkey. At the end of the day I
probably looked just like this little House Mouse five minutes after I after I
arrived home.
House Mouse
and Friends’ challenge this week is to case this card.
I chose to use
this fun image.
I stamped it three times
and cut out various parts of each, tracing Spellbinders’ egg nestability dies. I layered these behind a light purple layer
with windows die cut from the same dies.
I tucked a little Easter grass at the bottom of each window and added a
little metal wand used to die eggs. This
was all layered on light green and a white card base.
Glad those
jelly beans weren’t real – I would have munched them the whole time I was
creating.
