Time
just keeps flying by and it is already time for the February Challenge at the
Just For Fun Rubber Stamps Blog.
February’s theme is “Sweet Things”
To
help inspire you, I chose the JFF stamp, American Beauties. This was heat embossed with Detail White
Embossing Powder on watercolor paper.
Then it was color using Derwent Inktense Pencils and a watercolor
brush. I used the color of my favorite roses
and added a light blue wash in the background.
This was added to layers of white, light pink, and dark pink.
The
sentiment is from JFF’s To My Friend Word Block. It was stamped with Memento Ink on a yellow
rectangle and layered on pink, cut with a Spellbinders Nestabilities A2 Card
Creator Die. A second die was cut from
white and the pink was layered on top with it slightly offset.
Head
on over to the JFF Blog for more inspiration and all the details. If you enter the challenge you will have a
chance to win a gift certificate to the Just for Fun on-line store.
