Just For Fun April Challenge - Birds of a Feather

Welcome to Just For Fun Stamps’ Monthly Challenge for April.  This month our theme is "Birds Of A Feather".  We want to see projects with birds, birdhouses, feather…as long as it is related to our “birds” theme.  How easy is that?!

Here is some inspiration to get you started.  My project uses Just For Fun’s Bird House Row, heat embossed with Detail White Embossing Powder on watercolor paper and watercolored.

I embossed and colored a second fence and fussy cut it.  I used a Versamarker on the wire on the fence and added Detail Silver Embossing Powder.  This was layered over the original image to give it some dimension.

I heat embossed the House Wren (Small) with Detail Black Embossing Powder because I wanted it to pop a little more and be the main focus.  It was also colored with watercolors and added to the card front.

The sentiment, Happy Spring, was also heat embossed in white and coordinating watercolors were added.  This was layered on blue and added to the card front.
