Where
I live there has been nothing but rain for weeks. I definitely needed a little
sunshine and today’s card is bright and sunny and features the Chicken Run stamp set.
To
create the sunny background, Versamark ink was added
directly to the embossing folder and light yellow cardstock was run through. Yellow Spark embossing
powder was added and heat set. A Versamarker was run over
the raised rays and these were heat embossed with Dandy Dandelion EP.
The
rooster image was stamped and embossed with Detail Black EP, die cut with
Spellbinders Octagon die, and layered on black. This was layered on a Sue
Wilson Designs Carribean Island die, cut from dark yellow cardstock and covered
with Versamark ink and Sienna Star EP. When heat
set it provides a great sparkly background.
The
sentiment was heat embossed with Sienna Star, die cut, and
added to the top.
Hope
you are having a sunshiny day!
E. Marie

Love the use of the sun ray embossing folder with the Rooster. Perfect background!
The card is beautiful. I'm so into chickens and roosters. My friends would know a rooster card would be from me.
