Embossed Christmas Stocking

E. Marie here to share a quick, easy Christmas card that still looks elegant.  Some people work all year on their Christmas cards, making each one different.  Others, like me, tend to start closer to Christmas and make multiples of a few select designs.  In that case you usually want something fairly quick to put together but looks like it took longer.

This card uses the Stamptangle Stocking and the Balsam Branch images from Just For Fun Rubber Stamps.  The stocking is stamped and heat embossed in gold and various sections colored with a red Tombow Marker.  After die cutting with Spellbinders’ Labels Eight, the Balsam Branch is stamped around the edges with Distress Ink.  This is layered on Spellbinders’ Decorative Labels Eight, die cut from gold.  Add some coordinating designer Christmas paper and a few jewels and your done!

Hope this inspires you to get those Christmas cards made.
