We hope you enjoy the New Reveal Blog Hop as much as we have enjoyed creating new projects for it. We also hope that we have inspired you as well. Thanks for joining us and remember to comment on each of the Designers' blogs to be eligible for the Grand Prize. (We love reading these as your comments also inspire us.)
The latest Mystery Designer was Shona. Wonder who will be the Mystery Designer this month??
The Sparkle N Sprinkle Creative Challenge also begins today. There are lots of prizes and recognition badges. Come check out how you can become a SNS Featured Artist as well. The theme is always Anything Goes using Loose Glitter, Embossing Powder, and/or Flock.
The sleigh image
was stamped and heat embossed with Cerulean embossing powder. I used Spellbinders’ Radiant Rectangles to die cut the image and a piece of light blue designer
cardstock.
The trees from
the Sleigh Ride set were stamped with Versamark ink on the blue card base,
along with snowflakes from the Snow One Like You set. These were heat embossed with White Detail embossing
powder and the die cut layers and image were layered on top. A few blue jewels were added.
I did some
playing around while designing this card and decided to use some of the extra
pieces to make a second card.
This time I
embossed the image with the White Detail embossing powder and the blue
cardstock and then die cut it and sponged a little White Cloud Versamagic
around the edges. I popped this up in
the center of the die cut white card base and layered a left over piece of the
die cut light blue designer cardstock around the outer edge. Then I ran Dimensional Glue around the inside
edge of this layer and added Cloud Nine Velvet Glitter and a few pearls.
This a was
great way to make two fairly easy Christmas cards. Now it is time to hop on. The next stop on
our blog hop is Shona. I know she has something fun to share with
you.
