Let's Negotiate!

Time for another Christmas card idea, using the Christmas Goose stamp set. He’s a fun little character and I used the digital version for my card.

I colored him with alcohol markers and die cut him with Spellbinders’ Wonky Rectangles, sponging ink around the edges before removing it from the die. This was layered on a slightly larger red die cut with Firecracker Red embossing powder added to the edges using the Distressed Embossing Powder technique. This is added to the card front that is layered with designer paper and red cardstock, also edged with the Firecracker Red EP. A little sparkle was added to the lightbulbs on the designer paper and the goose image, using a glue pen and Sparkle EP.

The sentiment was handled the same as the image and popped up with dimensional tape. Mini Christmas Bulb garland was wrapped around the sentiment and the bottom of the card.

E. Marie,

What a super cute card! I absolutely love the sentiment too :)

I have never seen the wonky rectangles before. I will definitely be looking for those.

With using the 3D light strand, not only does it add dimension, but it pulls the lights right off the patterned paper. Awesome effect!

Thanks for playing at Jo's Scrap Shack!

Happy crafting,
Bridget
