I don't do a lot of cards for St. Patrick’s Day but still wanted to share a little “green” with you today.
I started this card months ago and kept putting it on the back burner. I was cleaning off my table and realized it was still sitting there and decided to finally finish it. The image and sentiments are from Sparkle N Sprinkle’s Golf set. This is a great little masculine
card with lots of sparkle and a fun surprise.
I colored the image with alcohol markers, die cut it, and layered it on die cut sticker paper. This leaves a nice border of adhesive, which I covered with Pine Grove Glitter Tinsel to create the “green” for this golfer.
Did you know that you can heat emboss on SNS glitter? The word “GOLF” is heat embossed in white on top of white cardstock that is layered with Tear-ific Tape and covered with Meadow Spark Glitter. I cut this out and layered it in the bottom corner of the card front.
Now for the little
surprise. Using Spellbinders’ circle die
and an embossing folder, I created a little golf ball that flips over to reveal
the sentiment.
Masculine cards can
sometimes be tough to create but this Golf set is perfect for them (but a
female golfer image is also included for the ladies). Find detailed instructions for this card in my gallery here.

What a sparkly & Irish green card. Delightful image, and I'm loving the green glitter. And no, I did not know the glitter could be heat embossed either. Love the plaid colors your little golfer is swinging on as well. Nice surprise to have the golf ball hide the sentiment. So cute. TFS
