Beautiful Geraniums Sparkle N Sprinkle December Release

Welcome to Sparkle N Sprinkle's December 1 Reveal and our new monthly challenge.  This month we are bringing you a pretty new stamp set by artist Beccy Muir with

FIVE chances to win.

The first chance is in our "Beautiful Geraniums" Release Contest

and

four more chances with the SNS monthly challenge where the monthly theme is always "Anything Goes with Glitter, Embossing Powder and/or Flocking."

The Geranium stamp set is available on line or is included in Jazzy Jill's Technique Video for the month.

The Geraniums stamp set, one glitter and one EP will be awarded to one commenter.
To win, just come to our Mystery Designer Party!

To join our party, all you have to do is leave comments on the designers’ Dec. 1 Release blog posts.  One of these designers is our “Mystery Designer” and one Commentor will be selected to receive the prize.  No one knows who the “Mystery Designer” is, so you may wish to visit each blog to leave a comment.

The winner will be announced on December 3 on Facebook, the SNS blog, and on our blogs:

Here is the designer line up:

Not only do we have prizes, but we also have special sales.  The beautiful Geraniums set is available at 20% off as part of our December specials.

Just use the code DEC20 in the COMMENTS SECTION when checking out in the SNS on-line store to receive this brand new set at 20% off.

(Promotion valid through December 3 - sorry, credit card customers only.  Total will be manually adjusted. Or phone the SNS shoppe and ask them to manually adjust the charge on the phone for you.)

I love floral images so I was thrilled to see this new set.  I decided to make a card that didn’t just show a simple stamped image so I used octagonal dies to create three pieces.

I stamped the design twice, colored with alcohol markers, then die cut the middle of one and the left and right sides of the second image.  I used dimensionals to pop up the middle image.

I layered these on an embossed and inked piece of designer paper using the ResistTechnique, Flourishes 1 and Flourishes 2 stamp sets, and Opaline embossing powder.

This was added to a brown layer and then to a layer of sticker paper punched with a border punch and covered with Parisian Mist glitter.

For the bottom section of the card front I created a sparkly white layer with subtle embossed flowers using Cloud Nine Velvet Glitter, an embossing folder, and the Dry Embossing on Velvet Glitter technique.

The sentiment was stamped on glitter, die cut, and sponged with ink (see Stamping on Velvet Glitter).

All of this was layered on brown cardstock, then green cardstock edged with Tear-ific tape.  Parisian Mist glitter was added to the remaining exposed adhesive and all added to the white card base.

I hope you will join our Mystery Designer Party by leaving comments for the designers, starting with me!  I might be the “Mystery Designer”.

Don’t forget our new Monthly Challenge, where you have more chances to win.

During all these holiday sales, make sure you visit the Sparkle N Sprinkle store to see all the specials!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

 E. Marie

You are a creative genius! I love this design. The coloring and the die cutting were excellent choices and the sparkly edge is a great touch. The hexagon shapes really set the stamps off beautifully.
