Sparkle N Sprinkle Creative Challenges July Challenge

Oh my!!  It is July!!  I have to say that the weather around us certainly does not feel like July – not near hot enough.  I am not complaining!!  With the first day of July comes a new challenge at Sparkle N Sprinkle Creative Challenges Blog.  The July challenge is to make anything but a card.  It could be a tag, a gift bag, a frame, …anything …except a card!!

I decided to create a box with something extra.

I gave it a wonderful antique metallic look, along with a fun shaker window on top.  I used the new Sparkle N Sprinkle set, Bird Song, and their lovely Antiquities Embossing Powder.

As for the shaker window, what a great way to recycle some plastic packaging.

Please check back tomorrow for a complete tutorial on how to make this box.

Now head on over to the Creative Challenges Blog to get all the details of the challenge, along with more inspiration from my fellow design team members.  I can’t wait to see what you make!!

E. Marie

This card is entered in the following challenges:
