Last night was our monthly stamp club meeting and we were playing with shoeboxes – one of our favorite things to do. Everyone creates a themed card and brings all the supplies for everyone to make their card. We pass these around and spend the evening making each other’s. cards. Such fun!!
Our
theme was two types of texture. For my
card I used a dry embossed background and added a “hay bale” made with drywall
tape and embossing powders. I colored
the tape with permanent ink and added it to a piece of cream cardstock. After trimming the edges and rounding the
corners, I stippled it with VersaMark Ink and sprinkled on some Antique Gold
and Buttercup Petal EP. The image is
from Sparkle N Sprinkles Harvest-Pumpkins set and the sentiment is from the
Fall Leaves Stampette Set. I added some greenery
by using a Lacey Pumpkin Corner Flourish die. You can find detailed instructions here.
Happy
Fall Ya’ll!!
E. Marie
