Grade A Teacher

With children returning to school there are a lot of “Back to School” challenges.  I decided to combine this with the current House Mouse theme of “Lets Get Fruity”  I borrowed this really cute stamp from my friend, April, and it just reminded me of some of my little kindergarteners who love to bring gifts to the teacher.

I stamped the image with dark brown Colorbox ink and colored it with colored pencils and Gamisol.  I purposely kept the apple a bit on the orange side to coordinate with this adorable apple paper I had.  I cut it out with a Spellbinder die and popped it up in the center.  I used a Cuttlebug border embossing folder to add some numbers and an apple corner rounder I have had forever.
