My card
features the new Toyland Bear set.
x
I
used the Copics on Flocking technique to create this fuzzy brown bear. I popped it up over the original image, along
with the bow and ball. This gave great
dimension to this image.
The card front
was created by stamping the pine in the left corner, extending across the top
and part way down the left side. I used
two different colors of green ink. After
stamping I used a die from Spellbinders’ Mix N Match Ornaments set to create a
window. Then this piece was run through
an embossing folder and lightly sponged with ink.
x
The sentiment
was heat embossed with Firecracker Red EP inside a tracing of the ornament
window. Then the branch was stamped
around the edges. This piece was popped
up behind the window.
x
This was layered
on a piece of red cardstock that edged with Versamark ink and heat embossed
with Christmas Fire EP. All of this was
layered on a piece of green plaid and added to a white card base.
I used the
Glittered Ribbon technique to create the bow from 1/8” Tear-ific Tape and Gypsy Red Velvet glitter. Then small jewels
from Mon Ami Gabby Red Diamond Mesh were added to the card front with
Dimensional Glue. You can find
detailed directions to make this card in the SNS gallery here.
