Love You Latte

I recently found a blog called Coffee Loving Cardmakers.  Being a total coffee addict, it immediately caught my attention.  They are currently having a blog hop and the challenge to create a “Summer Themed Coffee, Tea &/or Cocoa” project.  Who could resist.

I used the image from the Sparkle and Sprinkle’s Coffee Time stamp set.  I heat embossed the image with Platinum embossing powder and then filled in the image with a glue pen and added more embossing powder.  It kind of bubbled up giving it a rough old metal look.  I embossed the image three more times on different colored paper, using Cerulean embossing powder, and fussy cut different sections to paper piece the seat cushions, table cloth, and coffee cups.  I added some pretty floral and yellow striped paper behind the image. 

The sentiment is from Sparkle N Sprinkle’s Coffee Talks set.  It was also heat embossed with Cerulean EP on yellow cardstock layered on sticker paper.  Both were cut using Nellie Snellen’s Multi Frame Heart Dies and Terrific Blue glitter added to the remaining exposed adhesive.  This was popped up on the card front and blue and silver glittery pearls were added.

Reminds me of sitting outside at a restaurant with a friend having coffee on a lovely summer day.
