I love floral images so my sample features the new Iris Garden set.
x

It is heat embossed with Plum Wine embossing powder on vellum and colored with markers from the back.  A glue pen was used to add a little Sunny Daze glitter to the flower centers.

The vellum was layered on white cardstock behind a die cut section.  A die cut Super Adhesive Sheet was added behind this section and the exposed adhesive was covered with Starfire glitter.  The die used on this card is the Beverly Hills die set from Sue Wilson Designs Californian Collection.  The largest die from this set was used to create a window for the top layer and this piece was run through an embossing folder and popped up over the image.  I colored some sheer white ribbon with coordinating ink and created a bow.

I die cut Cheery Lynn Designs’ Exotic Butterfly from white cardstock and sponged a little ink around the edges of the wings.  Then the entire butterfly was covered with Versamark ink and heat embossed with Sparkle embossing powder.  This was added to the card front with the wings scored and bent upward.

This is such a lovely set and I know you will love it as much as I do.

Don't forget to leave a comment with each Designer to be eligible for the Grand Prize.  We love reading your comments and hope we have inspired you as well.  If you absolutely cannot leave a comment for some reason, please email icinganne@yahoo.com with your comment and the name of the blog or Designer you are commenting about.
