I am
back to share another technique card I had published recently in the CardMaker
Creative Color for Card Making special issue.
This
card uses a very simple and fun technique called No Iron Coffee Filter Batik. You simply stamp and heat emboss your images
with VersaMark ink and clear embossing powder all over a coffee filter. Then you apply color with reinkers or distress
stains.
You
end up with a lovely piece that makes a great background layer on your
card. To help bring out the design, I
layered it on white cardstock. Then I
cut it to the size I needed for my card.
I
layered it on a piece of sticker paper that was punched along one edge and
added Tiger Orange Velvet Glitter to the remaining exposed adhesive.
This
was added to the card front and the Second Spring sentiment was added. Find the complete details of this card in the
