Twinkle And Sparkle

I have had an adorable Sparkle N Sprinkle digital stamp, Twinkle The Snowbaby, sitting on my table while I tried to decide what to do with him.  I guess the chilly weather we are having finally inspired me.

After printing the image in black, I covered it with a piece of Tear-ific Tape and added Cloud Nine Velvet Glitter.  Then I colored the image with my alcohol markers directly on the glitter.  The glitter is so smooth that it is very easy to color on and it is still so sparkly!!  I cut it out with a Spellbinder die and layered it on a blue die cut.

The background was created by using a snowflake border punch on a piece of white cardstock, centering it on blue, and running it through an embossing folder.  I created the sparkly blue strip and snow flake by covering the same blue cardstock with Tear-ific Tape, cutting the strip and punching the snowflakes, and adding more Cloud Nine Velvet Glitter.

Thanks for visiting my blog.  Keep safe and warm!!

E. Marie

  16. Marie, fantabulous card! Did you have to put glue under the snowflakes to hold them in place, or did the embossing folder do a sufficient job of adhering the white snowflakes to the blue background? What a wonderful card - so much sparkliness and wonderful design! Wow!
