Wishing You a Beautiful Day

Sparkle N Sprinkle has introduced another new set called Fancy Butterflies and I love it.  I am partial to butterflies, anyhow, but these are so pretty and have wonderful sentiments to go with them.  What makes them absolutely irresistible is they coordinate with the new Spellbinder's Nested Butterflies 2 Dies and Butterflies Circles Dies.  Well, let’s get to what you are waiting for, the card.

The card layout is referred to as a Joy Fold Card and I love the way it opens.  It has two different flaps that open to reveal the inside which allows for a lot of different layers, something I really enjoy.   

For the top layer you can see the new Fancy Butterfly image.  I embossed it and added glitter on clear embossable acetate.  You can see how to do this in the Tips and Techniques section of the SNS website here.  I layered this on brown cardstock and embossed acetate, cut out with one of the new Nested Butterflies.  I love how the cut out swirls enhance the butterfly image.

The flower on the left corner holds the first flap shut but when you open it you can see the beautiful decorative paper I used.

When you open the second flap, it reveals the layered sentiment, Beautiful Day, inside the Circle Frame.  You can see detailed instructions how to make this card on the SNS website here.
