Impression Obsession Gift Basket

It's if Friday!!  Yeah.  But before I head to bed early I wanted to post this little gift basket I made for a challenge at Impression Obsession's Blog.

This basket is made using a 8 1/2 " x 8 1/2" square piece of cardstock.  You can find the instructions and a template at StampTV.  I used my scor-pal to score all the sides and then added a layer of purple on each section.  Then I added a layer of yellow floral Basic Grey cardstock that I stamped over in deep pink using my CC061 Cover-a-Card Butterflies background stamp from Impression Obsession.  I used Spellbinder scalloped ovals cut out of pink and purple on the side and added two silk flowers layered in the center.  Then I added a purple floral jewel.

The handle was made out of a strip of pink punched on both sides with a border punch from Martha Stewart.  I layer this with a purple and on top is a strip of the same yellow floral cardstock from Basic Grey, overstamped with the same Butterflies background.  I added jeweled butterflies and flowers to the handle.

This card is entered in the following challenges:
