Here is another card for the Joan’s Gardens’ JustRite challenge. I had wanted to do something for St. Patrick’s Day. This card has a white base with a dark green layer. On top of that I adhered some green decorative cardstock, creating one triangle from the front pattern and one triangle from the back pattern. I had this self-adhesive metallic ribbon that I bought after Christmas at CVS so I used it from corner to corner down the center.
The medallion in the center was created using a JustRite stamp from their Favorite Occasions Borders & Centers set. I stamped it in green on white and layered it on a dark green flower die (from Nellie Snellen) that just peeks out. This is pop-dotted to a lighter green circle, stamped with the border saying, also from JustRite’s Favorite Occasions Borders & Centers, in dark green. This is layered on a larger flower die, than layered onto a larger white circle stamped with a border from JustRite’s Plant a Little Love Borders & Centers, then one more larger flower die, peeking out around the edges of the circle. I ran some ribbon behind the medallion, added some jewels on the large border, and painted the small image with metallic watercolors. Then added just a touch of green glitter.
